Ok, so on my facebook page I recently put up a picture of my latest fish stock batch. I just loved how it turned out! It was delicious and the color was so lovely. You wouldn’t think that fish stock would have a nice color would you? So I figured it was time to share the how-to’s now that this has become part of my routine.
Well here’s my story with fish stock. It’s pretty much the same as with everything else… Continue reading
So here I go again with making something homemade. I have a problem I think. It’s 25 degrees outside and it’s probably the only week all summer that we’ve had nice weather like this and I am spending it in the kitchen. Issues much?

We sort of tried it a little bit last year but didn’t bother too much with it but this year the Italian Troll made me these gorgeous boxes to plant all the veg in. I adore them! He did a brilliant job and these will last for years to come!
This year is kind of a trial year but it’s gone well! We’ve planted potatoes, carrots, red and yellow onions, spinach, chard, broccoli, pickle cucumbers, leeks, romaine and… Continue reading
